
The Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) oversees the
implementation of STARS, a program targeted to 6th grade students
throughout the state of Oregon. Utilizing a peer mentor model,
high school students are trained to deliver the five-session
curriculum to middle school student. The program can be delivered
in both English and Spanish.

- The Risks of Early Sexual Involvement
- Social Pressure
- Understanding Peer Pressure
- Setting Personal Stopping Points
- Learning Assertive Techniques
- Reinforcing Skills
