Resources
In the convenience of your home, you can learn evidence-based information and practical skills that can help make the transition years easier.

You will find 4 classes each lasting between 10 and 20 minutes. After each class there is a very short assessment as well as recommended activities for you and your child. Research shows that time spent with your teen in constructive activities enhances your relationship.

When you are done, we ask you to take a very short survey. This survey will help us understand the impact of this program.

This website, www.TalktoThem.org, is one piece of a federally-funded campaign to help involve parents with their children’s sexual health. Another piece of the project is a media campaign directed towards parents in Oregon and Southwestern Washington. Talking with teens about sex, love, and relationships is often something parents avoid, feeling inadequate or embarrassed. These television public service announcements, in addition to billboards and brochures, are designed to encourage parents to do what their children desperately want: to have a conversation with them about the important issues in life. You can view the complete campaign and know it is so important that teens hear their parents’ voice.
