This website, www.TalktoThem.org, is one piece of a federally-funded campaign to help involve parents with their children’s sexual health. Another piece of the project is a media campaign directed towards parents in Oregon and Southwestern Washington. Talking with teens about sex, love, and relationships is often something parents avoid, feeling inadequate or embarrassed. These television public service announcements, in addition to billboards and brochures, are designed to encourage parents to do what their children desperately want: to have a conversation with them about the important issues in life.
