Greater Portland’s resource for presenting abstinence as a positive lifestyle for singles

Reality Unlimited Abstinence Education spends time in private or public school classrooms and assemblies, youth groups and other youth organizations giving a strong message of abstinence until marriage. Our services are offered at no charge throughout the tri-county area in any venue that caters to middle and high school students, parents and adults who work with youth.

Reality Unlimited brings an upbeat and positive approach to helping teens make good decisions for developing healthy relationships. We challenge students to think about ‘choosing the best’ not only for themselves, but for their future lives, spouses and children. Reality discusses pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, dating, relationship boundaries, pressures and refusal skills. We feel it is very important to interact with students when giving this message so we incorporate a number of games, illustrations, personal stories and group interaction.

Reality Unlimited can tailor our presentation to meet the need of any group. The following is a list of formats that we use most often:

• Two to three 90 minute presentations in high school (7-12) and middle school (7-8) classrooms
• One 90 minute assembly
• 1-1 ½ hour youth group or youth organization meeting
• Additional presentation for high school Health II classes
• 1-1 ½ hour Parent Education Presentation
