FAQs about what they want to know:

When you talk with your child about sex, there is no way to predict what he or she already knows and what questions may arise. There are some general issues that you can assume will come up. Puberty, self-image, relationships, and sex are all likely to be on your child’s mind.

This section includes three age-determined lists of questions and topics that your child is likely to be wondering about. Look through these Frequently Asked Questions before you talk with your child as a way of educating yourself. You can also refer to the questions and answers after you have a discussion with your child, or even go through them with your child.

Depending on your child’s maturity or prior knowledge of these topics, you may want to look at answers in an older or younger age bracket.
